In Memoriam
Two of the finest composers of the twentieth century pay tribute to two of the finest of the nineteenth, with stylish orchestrations of some of their hero's most engaging music.
In turn, Pärt's modern classic pays sonorous tribute to Britten, before we embark on Richard Strauss's epic and inspiring journey to one man facing his ultimate fate, closing with an enthralling vision of heaven.
