New Bristol Sinfonia
New Bristol Sinfonia is one of Bristol's premier symphony orchestras, with regular performances in major venues throughout the city.
The orchestra has grown into one of Bristol's most dynamic and prestigious amateur orchestras. It draws on local talent for its members from a variety of professional backgrounds, all who have the common goal of playing to the highest standard.
The orchestra has played with such internationally renowned artists as Natalie Clein (cello), Madeline Mitchell (violin), Rafal Zambrzycki Payne (violin), Guy Johnston (cello) and the Swingle Singers. more...

New Bristol Sinfonia is a mostly non-professional symphony orchestra based in Bristol playing to an extremely high standard. Founded in 1997 we put on 4 concerts a year mainly in the 600 seat Victoria Rooms in Clifton, Bristol, focussing on repertoire from the 19th century onwards.
We are looking for a new Musical Director in 2014 to help us continue to achieve a recognised position of excellence and quality within the city of Bristol’s musical life. For further details see here.
